Leasing company Europlan announced its intention to conduct an IPO on the Moscow Exchange (MOEX: MOEX). The listing and start of trading in shares are planned for the end of March, it follows from press release.
As part of the IPO, the sole owner of the company, investment holding SFI (SFI PJSC), will offer investors the shares it owns. Europlan and SFI undertake a standard lock-up commitment for a period of six months.
The volume of the IPO is not disclosed, but it is clarified that after the placement SFI will retain a dominant stake in Europlan’s capital. Russian qualified and unqualified individual investors, as well as Russian institutional investors, will be able to participate in the IPO.
Europlan considered entering the public market back in 2021. Then the company needed additional capitalization, which was provided by the shareholder, the SFA holding: he singled out 1 billion rubles for these purposes. Reuters reported that Europlan intends to hold an IPO this spring with a placement volume of 10 billion to 15 billion rubles.
