Most European Union countries continue to purchase Russian gas. The head of Gazprom spoke about this (MOEX:GAZP) Alexey Miller. According to him, even those countries that have announced their refusal to receive energy continue to receive the energy resource. Supplies are carried out through the distribution hub in Baumgarten in Austria, where gas goes through the territory of Ukraine through the Sudzha compressor station, Mr. Miller said.
“In fact, I wouldn’t like to give any number. Why? Because the molecules in the main gas pipeline do not have a national coloring,” said Mr. Miller, answering a question from journalist Ivan Zarubin. He emphasized that even those EU countries that “proclaimed an official refusal to consume Russian gas” use the fuel.
Russian gas is supplied to the southern and south-eastern parts of the EU in accordance with previously established agreements, he noted.

November 8 in underground storage facilities of EU countries was 109.83 billion cubic meters m of gas. EU gas reserves reached a new historical high of 99.6% (9.84 percentage points more than the five-year average for this date).
On November 2 it became known that the countries of the European Union (EU) are going reduce imports of Russian natural gas to 40–45 billion cubic meters. m already in 2023. The day before, the head of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Nikolai Shulginov statedthat only an increase in Russian gas supplies can reduce gas prices in Europe.
