The euro exchange rate exceeded 100 rubles. during trading on the Moscow Exchange. The last time the European currency traded at this level was in March 2022. The dollar for the first time since March 2022 costs more than 92 rubles.
By 7:23 the euro exchange rate reached 100.31 rubles. The European currency rose by 1.3 rubles. from the start of trading on July 6. The dollar exchange rate is strengthening even more – by 1.6 rubles, to 92.6 rubles. The yuan rose by 18 kopecks to 12.72 rubles.

First Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia Ksenia Yudaeva earlier this week tied up depreciation of the Russian currency with a change in the trade balance. She noted that the regulator does not record major transactions in the foreign exchange market.
