The review follows complaints of two cases of suicidal ideation and one case of self-harm from Icelandic citizens taking Novo Nordisk for diabetes and/or obesity.
The EMA will study the effects of the common active ingredient semagludite on the psyche and, based on the results of the test, Maybe include these effects in the list of side effects. Novo Nordisk noted that its clinical trials have shown no such effect on the psyche. However, the company emphasized that it is attentive to all signals from patients and is ready to contribute to research.
