Elon Musk is preparing to surprise again: neuroimplants, space communications, Twitter and Tesla

The influence of one of the richest people on the planet, who owns the five most important intonation companies for the world economy, is steadily growing. The non-trivial thinking of a businessman is admired by his supporters and genuine horror by his opponents. Stanislav Bovt, a financial analyst at the CMS group of companies, told Moskovskaya Pravda about what the billionaire is striking the world with today, as well as about the prospects of the companies he manages.

1. Neuralink. Since 2016, the company has been developing brain implants for people with intractable conditions such as paralysis and blindness. In 2022, the US Food and Drug Administration rejected the company’s application for human trials, citing serious safety concerns. The agency was concerned about a lithium battery and microwires that could pose a danger to the brain. Today, Neuralink is in talks to conduct human trials of its implants with the Barrow Neurological Institute, based in Phoenix, Arizona. Neuralink believes that the research is not dangerous to humans and will benefit patients.

“It seems to me that permission will be obtained sooner or later, and this will be another breakthrough in medicine,” the expert believes.

2. SpaceX. In March, the company launched 40 new OneWeb communications satellites, bringing the number to 582. It is planned to launch 66 more satellites into orbit. The FCC has approved rules for direct-to-satellite phone calls, and SpaceX will be testing calls with partner T-Mobile US as early as this year.

“So it is likely that there will soon be no dead mobile zones in the world,” notes Stanislav Bovt.

3. Tesla. About 30 global brands have reduced the price of electric vehicles in China thanks to Tesla, which cut the price by another 14% in January this year. The previous decline was in October last year, and today some Tesla models can be bought with a 50% discount from prices in Europe and the USA.

“Demand for electric cars is growing. And in my opinion, there is nothing better for the consumer than a price reduction for quality products, – the expert comments.

4. Twitter. After the acquisition of Twitter, the company’s revenue fell by more than 40%. Only Elon Musk does not lose heart. He plans to increase revenue to $26 billion by 2028 through subscriptions and the creation of his own payment system.

– And I have no doubt that he will succeed, – Stanislav Bovt is sure.

Another contribution of Elon Musk to the global economy could be the purchase of the bankrupt Silicon Valley Bank (SVB). Criticizing the US financial authorities for the banking crisis, Musk did not rule out the possibility of helping them in this form. Although it has recently been reported that all SVB deposits and loans will go to the holding company First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company of North Carolina. But in any case, Elon Musk has a lot of original ideas, as well as opportunities to implement them. So, the most famous billionaire on the planet will most likely succeed more than once in impressing and shocking the public.
