President of the Moscow Art Theater Gorky, People’s Artist of the USSR Tatyana Doronina, about whom nothing was heard for half a year, made herself felt. The reason for the light was the anniversary of Vladimir Kekhman – the current general director of the Moscow Art Theater turned 55. On this occasion, Vladimir Abramovich, who surprised Moscow with his stormy work on the reconstruction of the theater building on Tverskoy Boulevard, received a telegram from Doronina, written, as is characteristic of her, in the imperial spirit.
“Dear Vladimir Abramovich! We sincerely congratulate you on such a significant anniversary! 55 years is a high milestone in testing the strength of human significance!” Doronina wrote in a congratulatory message to Kekhman.
She also noted the high merit of the General Director of the Moscow Art Theater in the restoration of the Art Theater – the great brainchild of K.S. Stanislavsky and V.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko. “Your personal courage is worthy of high respect! Your character, remarkable energy, outstanding talent instill confidence in the successful future of your work,” the theater president wrote, wishing “the victorious implementation of undertakings”.
Such a message says one thing – Tatyana Vasilievna, although she is outside the theater, has everything under control.
