Dmitry Ugnivenko appointed deputy head of the Ministry of Digital Development – Kommersant

The head of the department for implementing infrastructure projects of the ministry, Dmitry Ugnivenko, has been appointed as the new Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of Russia. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Mr. Ugnivenko replaced Dmitry Kim as deputy head of the Ministry of Digital Development.
“To appoint Dmitry Konstantinovich Ugnivenko as Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation,” it says documentpublished on the official Internet portal of legal information.
Mr. Ugnivenko took the position of director of the department at the Ministry of Digital Development in 2021. He oversaw the development of infrastructure projects, in particular, connecting socially significant facilities to the Internet, providing Wi-Fi in schools and the program “Eliminating the Digital Divide”.
Before Dmitry Ugnivenko, the position of deputy head of the Ministry of Digital Development was held by Dmitry Kim. According to government orders, he left post on September 29 at his own request.
