The Board of Directors of Pobeda Airlines appointed Dmitry Tyschuk as the new CEO. This is stated in the message of the low-cost airline (Vedomosti has it). This decision was made following the meeting of the Board of Directors held on August 12, 2022.
Tyschuk will start working in his new position on August 16. He was approved for the post of general director of Pobeda for a period of five years. Previously, since 2013, Tyschuk served as First Deputy General Director of Aurora Airlines.
In March 2022, the head of the low-cost airline Andrey Kalmykov left the airline. Then he said that he would stay in Russia and develop other projects. Andrey Yurikov, who had previously held the post of deputy general director for engineering and aviation support of the company, was appointed as acting general director.
Pobeda is a subsidiary of Aeroflot. This is a budget airline based in Vnukovo. “Aurora” was also previously part of the group “Aeroflot“. On its basis, a single Far Eastern airline was created. Currently, 49.99% of the air carrier’s shares are owned by the Sakhalin Region, 5% each by ten regions of the Far East Federal District, and less than 1% by the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.
