Dmitry Shvets resigned from the board of directors of VimpelCom PJSC (Beeline brand) on July 20 on his own initiative, the Beeline press service told RIA Novosti.
“Member of the Board of Directors of PJSC VimpelCom, Managing Director of Veon’s asset portfolio, former head of TGP Capital in Russia and the CIS, Dmitry Shvets, on July 20, resigned from the Board of Directors on his own initiative, submitting notices of relinquishment of his powers to the company,” the company said in a statement.
The press service noted that Mr. Shvets did not participate in meetings and votings of the board of directors, and also did not receive information materials.
Dmitry Shvets from 1998 to 2004 worked for the international consulting company McKinsey & Company. Later he worked in various marketing positions at The Coca-Cola Company. Mr. Shvets was the operating director of Norilsk Nickel. In addition, he was a non-executive director of Lenta Ltd.
