The first to come to the premiere of the new film “mothers of midshipmen” by Svetlana Druzhinina was Alyosha Korsak – Dmitry Kharatyan. A couple of minutes later, he was already hugging Alexander Domogarov (Pavel Gorin), who told reporters that the fate of the last part of the cult film cycle was decided in just an hour: “For a long time they couldn’t decide whether there would be a continuation. But then everything happened at once – literally in an hour.”

The action of the film “Midshipmen 1787. War” takes place in Crimea, which is just becoming part of the Russian Empire. Filming took place on the peninsula. Some scenes were filmed on the water. “Sometimes we had to wait seven hours for the storm to subside,” Dmitry Kharatyan shared with reporters. He added that the filming process was not easy, but he has been in love with “Midshipmen” from the very beginning of the film cycle. “We are reunited again,” he concluded.
