From February 28, films and series from the American studio Disney will not be available in the Russian online cinema ivi, follows from a message on the video service website. The service recommends buying the film company’s products in order to keep access to them after February 28.
“A timeless Disney classic available until February 28,” reads the website ivi. Several of the Disney movies on the service are listed as being available through March 1st.
A notice that Disney products are only available until February 28 is also on the Kinopoisk website. The restriction, in particular, will affect the films “The Lion King”, “Home Alone”, the cartoons “Frozen”, “Toy Story”, all parts of “Star Wars”, films of the film studios Marvel and Fox. Similar information was reported “Tinkoff Journal” at Okko.

Disney stopped the release of its premieres in the Russian box office in March 2022.
