Former Scream VII director Christopher Landon has started directing his own horror film.
Director Christopher Landon is preparing for a new project, which will be his first since leaving Scream VII late last year. According to information The Hollywood Reporter Landon is in talks to direct a film called Big Bad, based on a story by Chandler Baker from the horror anthology Creature Feature.
The film follows a family who are hunted by werewolves during their overnight stay in an isolated farmhouse. Todd Lieberman and Hidden Pictures will produce the film, with Lionsgate’s Robert Melnick overseeing the deal.
It’s worth noting that “Big Bad” is Landon’s first project after an unsuccessful attempt to work on “Scream VII”, which lost two stars – Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega.
