Computing and telecommunications equipment supplier Aquarius, in partnership with OS developer Astra Linux, will begin sales in Myanmar in early 2024. In particular, companies are negotiating with the country’s authorities about supplies to the public sector against the backdrop of increasing sanctions pressure on it from the EU and the United States. Some market participants, however, doubt the partners’ ability to take a significant share of the Myanmar market, believing that for now we are talking about supplies for a specific local project.
