Yesterday, January 28, at the age of 81, the cartoonist Vyacheslav Nazaruk, who created such characters as Mammoth, Little Raccoon and Leopold the cat, died. Sergey Kapkov, editor-in-chief of the Soyuzmultfilm film studio, announced the death of the artist.
Farewell to Vyacheslav Nazaruk will be held in the Temple of Tsarevich Dmitry at the First City Hospital on February 1 at 14:00, an excerpt from Mr. Kapkov’s message leads Interfax.
Among the works of the production designer are such cartoons as “Leopold the Cat”, “Baby Raccoon”, “One Cowboy, Two Cowboy”, “Imp with a Fluffy Tail”, “Mother for a Mammoth” and others.
