Actor Andrei Torkhov died at the age of 67, according to website Ryazan Youth Theater, where the artist has worked since 2011. The cause of death is not given. The theater clarified that, at the request of the actor, there would be no civil memorial service.
Andrei Torkhov graduated from the Higher Theater School named after Boris Shchukin in 1979. He played at the Evgeny Vakhtangov Theater, the Chelyabinsk Drama Theater named after Samuil Zwilling, the Ryazan Drama Theater, the Ryazan Regional Philharmonic. He taught acting at the Yaroslavl Theater Institute.
During his career, the artist starred in several films and TV shows.
