The Russian developer of biometric identification systems, Group of Companies Papillon Systems, is considering the possibility of entering an IPO, they report “Vedomosti”. According to a Vedomosti source, we are talking about plans for an IPO of the entire group of companies. According to him, the Papillon System estimates the “window of opportunity” to be one to two years. A company representative declined to comment on the possibility of an IPO.
The Group of Companies “Systems Papillon” includes LLC “Tridivi”, LLC “IT Papillon” and JSC “Papilon”. All legal entities are registered in the city of Miass in the Chelyabinsk region. “IT Papilon” develops software for multibiometric identification (by fingerprints, face, retina), “Tridivi” – neural networks and recognition algorithms, LLC “Systems Papilon” – special equipment and electrical components for software and hardware recognition systems. JSC Papillon designs systems based on the products of other companies in the group.
According to SPARK-Interfax, the ultimate owner of the Group of Companies is Adis LLC. At the end of 2021, the revenue of Papillon JSC amounted to 1 billion rubles, net profit – 10.5 million rubles, revenue of Tridivi LLC – 49 million rubles, loss – 9 million rubles. Systems Papillon LLC received 337 million rubles. revenue and 7.5 million rubles. profits, IT Papilon LLC – 289 million and 37.5 million rubles.
