[ad_1]

Gas leaks were found northeast of the island of Bornholm in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark. The location corresponds to the route of the Nord Stream gas pipeline. A five-mile no-go zone for shipping has been set up around the leak area. Interfax with reference to the Danish Maritime Authority.

The day before, on September 26, accidents occurred at two Nord Streams. During the day, the pressure dropped in one of the Nord Stream 2 lines, which was never put into operation. As reported, the incident allegedly occurred near the Danish island of Bornholm (the pipeline was laid southeast of the island outside the territorial waters in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark), where a section of the pipe at a depth of about 100 m was laid by the Russian vessel Fortuna.

In the evening, the operator of the existing Nord Stream gas pipeline, Nord Stream, reported a pressure drop in both strings. Now the gas pipeline is not pumping gas due to a malfunction of the equipment at the Portovaya compressor station. The causes of the accidents were not reported.
