Debt shortening // At what yield are government bonds traded?
[ad_1]
Tough statements by representatives of the Bank of Russia had a noticeable impact on the yields of ruble government bonds. At the end of February, they grew by an average of 116 bp. p. and returned to values of 12.3–14.4% per annum. At the same time, the strongest increase in yield affected long-term issues. At the same time, analysts advise keeping a high proportion of the portfolio in short-term bonds, as long-term securities will remain under pressure due to uncertainty regarding the start of the Central Bank’s monetary policy easing cycle.
