“Dance with the stars” back on Friday September 9 on TF1

After several weeks of teasing between jury announcements, dancers and participants, “Dancing with the Stars” has finally announced its return date in a press release. TF1 invites salsa and Viennese waltz enthusiasts to meet on Friday September 9th.

Twelfth season and twelve celebrities ready to hit the floor. Eight of them had already been revealed: the singers Billy Crawford,Anggun and Eva, the influencer Lea Eluithe former judoka and minister David Douilletthe adventurer of “Koh-Lanta” Clemence Castel and the actor Theo Fernandez.

Who are the other four celebrities?

To complete the cast, Amandine Small (Miss France 2021), singer Carla Lazzari, seen in “The Voice Kids” and France’s representative at Junior Eurovision in 2019. Viewers will also find Thomas Da Costa, comedian in the series Here it all starts and singer Stéphane Legar.

Each apprentice dancer will be accompanied by a professional of the sixth art. For the moment no pair is yet formalized and for good reason, the troop is renewed. Since the first announcements of “Dancing with the stars”, historical dancers of the show announced their departure like Maxime Dereymez, Christian Millette or Denitsa Ikonomova, quadruple winner of the competition and jury of the previous season. Conversely, Katrina Patchett had formalized his return to the program after a year of absence.

To rate the twelve participating couples, Chris Marques, host seen in “Good Singers” and historical judge of the dance competition, stacks up with Francois Alu. Juror since last year, the star dancer of the Paris Opera seems to enjoy this exercise. He is joined by one of his counterparts Marie-Agnès Gillot. The fourth seat will be occupied by Bilal Hassani, singer and finalist of the previous season of “Dancing with the stars”.

In its press release, TF1 promises changes in the show with “new features every week to make the competition more exciting and interactive”. The program presented by Camille Combal evokes without further details “a buzzer” and the “hot seat”. What push the twelve celebrities and their partner to surpass themselves to hope to succeed Tayc and Fauve Hautotwinners of the previous season.
