What is KTK
CPC is the main export route for the supply of Kazakh oil (about 80% of total exports), which runs from fields in the west of the country to a terminal near the Russian port of Novorossiysk. The consortium operates the Tengiz-Novorossiysk oil pipeline with a length of 1,511 km, through which Russian oil is also supplied for export. The company’s shareholders include Transneft (24%), CPC Company (7%), Kazmunaigas (19%) and Kazakhstan Pipeline Ventures (1.75%), American Chevron (15% through the Chevron Caspian Pipeline Consortium ), Lukoil (12.5% through Lukarco BV), American Mobil Caspian Pipeline (7.5%), Rosneft-Shell Caspian Ventures Limited – joint venture of Rosneft and Shell (7.5%), BG Overseas Holding Limited and Eni International NANV (2% each), Oryx Caspian Pipeline LLC (1.75%).
