The company had to pay the fine within two months of the entry into force of the document imposing the fine.
After the refusal of the appellate instance to satisfy the complaint of Google, the decision entered into force.
Against the backdrop of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, Google blocked a number of YouTube channels owned by Russian companies and TV channels. In particular, access was limited to the projects of Channel One, TNT and Zvezda. The platform also blocked Spas and Duma TV channels (owned by the State Duma). Earlier, the court ordered the corporation to restore access to these YouTube channels.
