Converse appoints new CEO – Kommersant

Nike appointed Jared Carver, the new president and CEO of Converse, who will take over on June 1st. He will succeed Scott Uzell, who will now lead Nike’s North American business.
Mr. Carver previously served as vice president and general manager of North America of Converse for four years, in charge of a key market for the brand. Under his leadership, revenue grew from $1.9 billion in fiscal 2019 to $2.3 billion in fiscal 2022. Overall, Jared Carver has served in various leadership roles at Converse for over 10 years.
Mr. Carver’s appointment is part of a massive leadership reshuffle at Nike. announced May 24 and aimed at further integration of brands into a single business model of the company.
