Concert agencies did not notice the pressure of censorship

Last year, the number of actively performing artists in Russia decreased. Including, because of their statements about NWO. But concert agencies did not see blacklists of musicians and did not feel the pressure of censorship.

Director General of the TCI agency Eduard Ratnikov said RBCthat I heard about such lists, but never saw it. NCA President Mikhail Shurygin said that not only did he not see such lists, but he did not even know about them.

PMI President Evgeny Finkelstein admitted the existence of such lists, and admitted that the concert industry is feeling pressure.

Interviewed market participants noted that the number of actively performing artists has decreased. Ratnikov said that Moscow had lost about 700,000 “quality people.” Including the target audience who regularly attended concerts.

But in such conditions, an opportunity arose for novice performers. Shurygin said he was expecting “a lot of discoveries” among new Russian musicians.

“Now there is a certain lack of artists, which generates interest in new projects and young musicians, so the environment for creativity is as favorable as possible,” he explained.

Moreover, according to Finkelstein, the audience has a demand for entertainment and money for spectacles.

Experts also expressed doubt that the entertainment market has prospects for development outside the country.
