Concern “Kalashnikov” began deliveries of the latest type of drones to the troops of the Russian Federation

The Kalashnikov Concern has developed a line of the latest copter-type drones. Some of them are already supplied to the Russian army, said the head of the holding, Alan Lushnikov.
“We have not announced this, but we are already supplying copters to the army. This is a whole line. Some of them are already being produced and supplied in series. Part is under development and will be released next year,” said Mr. Lushnikov (quote from TASS).
The Kalashnikov Group of Companies is the largest Russian manufacturer of combat automatic and sniper weapons, guided artillery shells, and a wide range of high-precision weapons. At the moment, 25% of the concern’s shares are owned by the state corporation Rostec, 75% – by private investors.
According to the head of the company, the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is the most important area of the concern’s work. One of the copters, model ZALA 421-24, could be seen at the Army-2022 forum.
Presented drone maybe fly more than 30 min. at an altitude of up to 1.5 thousand meters, reach speeds of up to 30 km / h, and its communication range is more than 3.5 km. According to a representative of ZALA aero (part of the Kalashnikov group of companies.— “b”), the UAV is stable under conditions of suppression by means of electronic warfare.
Earlier it was reported that the armament of the Russian special forces received Chukavin semi-automatic sniper rifles (SHF) developed by the holding. Mr. Lushnikov also informedthat a new model of the PPK submachine gun will be supplied to the Russian army.
