Wednesday evening, M6 launched “Traitors”. This new format in France, inspired by the game Le Loup-Garou and adapted from a Dutch format which is a hit on the RTL 4 channel, brings together fourteen personalities from very different worlds: the ex-judoka and minister David Douillet and his wife Vanessa, the writer Bernard Weberthe comedians Martin Lamotte and Bruno SanchesMiss France Delphine Wespiseractress and singer Elsa Esnoultthe adventurer Clemence Castelcomedian Alex Ramires, youtubers Just Riadh, Natoo and Melococo, the former swimmer Camille Lacourtthe champion of the show “Les Douze Coups de midi” Paul El Kharrat.

At the start of the show, Éric Antoine named three traitors. The others, considered loyal, must find the identity of the latter before being eliminated. Each of the participants aims to stay in the game until the end in order to win 50 silver bars worth 40,000 euros donated to an association of their choice.

Every day, the candidates participate in psychological or physical tests in teams to try to win these silver bars. During the first episode, Bernard Werber, Clémence Castel, Just Riadh and Elsa Esnoult had to solve puzzles locked in coffins to hope to win four ingots and also have access to immunities.

Upon discovering the ordeal, Just Riadh’s blood froze. “In fact, this adventure was just to tell me that they were going to bury me alive and that I was going to die today”, said the influencer. Installed in the wooden box, Bernard Werber saw the side “extraordinary” of this experience. “It will be added to the somewhat significant things in my life”, added the writer with a laugh. Not far away, Clémence Castel, for whom being locked in a coffin is one of her greatest fears, played the meditation card to “calm [son] anxiety and [ses] heartbeats”. More expressive, Elsa Esnoult could not help but express her anxieties: “It’s horrible because I know I have no choice”.

To accentuate the tension, Éric Antoine closed the coffins with nails. “I am at the end of my life”dropped the actress of mysteries of love seeing the animator tapping with his hammer. The undertakers present around then covered the small window present on the coffins with a few clods of earth. And before launching his riddles, the host joked by dropping: “See you in five hours”.

Without being plunged into darkness, Bernard Werber, Clémence Castel, Just Riadh and Elsa Esnoult were equipped with walkie-talkies to give their answers. Something to reassure them… a little.
