Citymobil has tentatively agreed on the supply of cars from the Moskvich plant

Taxi service “Citymobil” has previously agreed with the plant “Moskvich” on the supply of cars for taxi companies next year, informs TASS, citing Ekaterina Zubenina, PR Director of People&People, which manages Citymobil, Gruzovichkof and Taxovichkof services.

“We have tentatively agreed with Moskvich on the supply of 2,000 gasoline vehicles in 2023. The company plans to purchase vehicles for the Citypark leasing company, which is part of the aggregator,,” said Zubenina.

According to her, plans also include providing some cars to partners from other leasing companies. In addition, there are discussions about the supply of electric vehicles, but from other companies, for example from Evolute.

According to the press service of Moskvich, at the moment, specific agreements have not yet been reached with any of the customers. But the company expects that the negotiations will be completed in the near future. “We are confident that Moskvich cars will become an integral part of the Moscow transport system, they will be able to meet the needs of buyers for both personal and urban transport – taxis and car sharing,” the Moskvich press service commented.

November 23 in Moscow at the former Renault plant started assembly of Moskvich cars. The first new model of the plant was the Moskvich 3 crossover. Its sales are scheduled to begin in December 2022.

April 26 at the Ministry of Industry and Trade reportedthat Renault decided to transfer a stake in its Renault Russia plant (formerly Avtoframos) to the Moscow government. In the spring, Sobyanin announced that the plant would produce cars under the Moskvich brand, and in the future, electric cars.
