A Chinese visa service center has launched its work in Moscow. It is located on Vasilisa Kozhina Street, 1, reported embassy China in Russia.
The center is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:00. To visit the center, the applicant must fill out an online visa application form on the website of the visa service center and make an appointment. “Without prior appointment, the visa service center does not accept,” the message of the Chinese diplomatic mission says.
It is also clarified that from August 8, Russian citizens will be able to apply for a visa to the center in St. Petersburg (Liteiny Prospect, 26A). In addition to these two centers, you can apply for a visa at the PRC Consulates General in Khabarovsk, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk and Vladivostok.
On August 1, Russia launched a tourist exchange with China and Iran – such trips do not require a visa. Such a mechanism operated before the COVID-19 pandemic, it was planned to resume it from August 1. According to the rules that were in force until 2020, the group should be from 5 to 50 people, they could stay in the country for up to 15 days. The updated mechanism for sending tourist groups to China is still unknown. It is planned that the first groups will go to China in autumn.
