Restrictions on the export of drones weighing more than 4 kg, introduced by China since September 1, have complicated their deliveries to Russia and led to a shortage of a number of components. In particular, problems arose with the supply of thermal imagers, Kommersant learned.
A shortage has already been recorded for agrodrones, which weigh on average 30–40 kg and are produced in the Russian Federation in single copies. Large Russian drone manufacturers have managed to stockpile and hope that their suppliers in China will be able to obtain licenses for export to the Russian Federation. However, registration can take up to a year, and for it you need to prove that the UAVs will not be used for military purposes.
Details – in the material “Kommersant” “UAVs do not reach Russia”.
