Cherkizovo will buy Healthy Farm from Trust

The agro-industrial complex “Mikhailovsky”, which is part of the Cherkizovo Group of Companies, became the only bidder for the sale of the “Healthy Farm” group. This follows from the auction protocol published on the website of the Russian Auction House. Mikhailovsky will buy the asset at an initial price of 4.03 billion rubles. The seller is Trust Bank.

This is the second asset this month, which goes to the Cherkizovo group from Trust. Earlier it became known that the group will acquire for 6.4 billion rubles. “Russian grain Ufa”.

GC “Healthy Farm”, as follows from its presentation, occupies 30% of the poultry meat market in the Chelyabinsk region. The group has a production capacity of 100,000 tons of broilers per slaughter weight. The lot also includes processing of 18,000 tons of products and a feed mill for 240,000 tons. Until December 2015, Healthy Farm belonged to State Duma deputy Oleg Kolesnikov, then the asset was transferred to Rusgrain Holding, which is associated with the former shareholder of Binbank Mikail Shishkhanov.

Cherkizovo, according to its own data, is the largest producer of meat products in Russia. The group is engaged in the production of pork, chicken and turkey meat, as well as processed products. Cherkizovo’s revenue last year grew by 22.6% to 158 billion rubles, net profit – by 11.3% to 16.9 billion rubles.
