The parody TV show “Big Difference,” the release of which was suspended in 2014, will return to the air on Channel One on January 1, 2024. The New Year’s edition will be hosted by actress Nonna Grishaeva and actor Sergei Burunov.

The characters in the parody sketches will be performed by Alexander Oleshko, Igor Kistol, Svetlana Galka, Vladimir Kisarov, Dmitry Malashenko, Oleg Yesenin, Alexander Lobanov, as well as Sergey Bezrukov, Oleg Komarov, Roman Popov and Maxim Lagashkin.
The Big Difference premiered on January 1, 2008. The hosts of the show were Ivan Urgant and Alexander Tsekalo. In 2012, Mr. Urgant announced that he would no longer host the program. After several more years of existence, the project was closed. According to Mr. Tsekalo, script groups began to have a “lack of fresh creative ideas.” On June 15, 2014, the last episode of “Big Difference” was released.
