By the end of April, the number of employees of Zaporozhye NPP will grow to 4.5 thousand people

Renat Karchaa, Advisor to the Director General of the Rosenergoatom Concern, said that by the end of April the number of employees at the Zaporizhzhya NPP (ZNPP) would reach 4.5 thousand people. According to him, more than 3,000 people are currently working at ZNPP.
“Until the end of April, the ZNPP team will expand, and its predicted number is 4,500 people,” said Mr. Karchaa TASS. He added that now at the last stage of checks and consideration are 1.2 thousand applications for employment.
Russia gained control over the ZNPP at the end of February 2022 during a military operation in Ukraine. Since October, ZNPP has been managed by Rosenergoatom, which was created by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Also at the station are experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). IAEA chief Rafael Grossi called the situation at the ZNPP is dangerous and unstable.
