Bulgaria provided with gas for 12-14 months

Bulgaria’s Minister of Economy Nikola Stoyanov said that the gas crisis for the country was left behind. According to him, Bulgaria is provided with energy for the next 12-14 months.
Mr. Stoyanov spoke about the situation with gas reserves in an interview with a TV channel Nova. He noted that business can continue to work quietly. “The situation is exceptionally dynamic, if this question had been asked two months ago, I would have answered no. Especially if the war continues, but now we have a long-term gas supply agreement with Azerbaijan, and we can add agreements on the supply of liquefied and pipeline gas to it,” Mr. Stoyanov said. He noted that “competitive prices” are expected at the auctions for gas supplies.
Gas transmission operators in Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia in early October suggested deliver gas to Europe through integrated gas transmission networks. Deliveries are planned to be carried out within the framework of cooperation with Azerbaijan.
