The musical, which debuted at Her Majesty’s Theater in London in 1986, was composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, with the bulk of the lyrics written by Charles Hart with input from Richard Stilgoe.
The Phantom of the Opera is the story of a mysterious, mutilated ghost wandering the Paris Opera who falls in love with the young Christine Daae.
