Britain’s first Eurovision entry Patricia Bredin dies

In Nova Scotia (a province in the southeast of Canada), singer and actress Patricia Bredin, who was the first British participant in the Eurovision Song Contest, has died at the age of 88.
The Telegraph recalls that Patricia Bredin represented Great Britain at Eurovision 1957 with the song “All” and then took 7th place.
She also starred in several films, including the comedy Left to Right and Center with Ian Carmichael. Bredin was also involved in the original cast of the musical Free as Air in 1957.
The personal life of the singer was unsuccessful. Her marriage in 1964 to singer Ivor Emmanuel broke up after two years. She then married Canadian businessman Charles McCulloch, but he died on their honeymoon.
