Boeing’s first-quarter revenue up 28% – Kommersant

Today, April 26, the American aerospace corporation Boeing introduced financial statements for the first quarter. Revenue increased by 28% to $17.9 billion. Net loss was $425 million, a significant decrease compared to the first quarter of 2022, when it reached $1.2 billion. In the first quarter, the company delivered 130 aircraft – against 95 a year earlier. After the publication of financial statements, Boeing shares rose by 4%.

Among other things, investors welcomed Boeing’s statement that the company plans to increase deliveries of 737 Max aircraft to 38 per month this year – against 31 per month last year. Moreover, in mid-April, the company informedthat in the near future she will have to reduce the supply of 737 Max due to problems with components. In total, Boeing plans to deliver 400 to 450 737 Max aircraft in 2023.
