Bloomberg: the fortune of Russian businessmen has decreased by $94 billion since the beginning of the year

The fortune of 27 Russian billionaires has decreased by $93.616 billion since the beginning of 2022, follows from the data Bloomberg. The founder of the Renova group, Viktor Vekselberg, and the chairman of the board of directors of Severstal, Alexey Mordashov, lost the largest sums.
The most impoverished businessmen:
- founder of the Renova group Viktor Vekselberg (lost $11.2 billion, current fortune is $7.24 billion);
- Chairman of the Board of Directors of Severstal Alexei Mordashov (lost $9.78 billion, fortune – $19.1 billion);
- shareholder of natural gas producer NOVATEK Gennady Timchenko (lost $9.66 billion, fortune – $12.8 billion);
- Chairman of the Board of Directors of NLMK Vladimir Lisin (lost $ 9.12 billion, fortune – $ 18.9 billion);
- shareholder of Evraz mining and metallurgical holding Roman Abramovich (lost $8.26 billion, his fortune is $9.74 billion).
Among the 27 Russian businessmen included in the ranking of the richest people in the world by Bloomberg, three increased their fortunes:
- former member of the board of directors of PhosAgro Andrey Guryev (increased by $1.58 billion, to $9.48 billion);
- Wildberries CEO Tatyana Bakalchuk (for $198 million, up to $5.8 billion);
- shareholder of USM holding Andrey Skoch (for $172 million, up to $5.59 billion).
