The wealth of Russia’s richest businessmen has increased by $13.17 billion since the beginning of 2023. This follows from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index (“Billionaires Index”, a Bloomberg project), which regularly calculates the fortunes of entrepreneurs based on data on the value of shares of companies they control.

The richest Russian, according to the version of the American edition, is one of the main owners of Norilsk Nickel, Vladimir Potanin, his fortune has grown by $448 million since the beginning of the year and amounted to $29 billion. In second place is the co-owner of Novatek, Leonid Mikhelson, whose fortune has increased by $1 .65 billion and amounted to $26.3 billion. The beneficiary of NLMK Group (the main asset is the Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Works) Vladimir Lisin closes the top three of the richest Russian businessmen – his fortune has increased by $1.17 billion since the beginning of the year and amounted to $21 billion.
Earlier, Bloomberg reported that the richest Russian businessmen for the year of the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine lost $67 billion. Billionaire Alexei Mordashov suffered the biggest losses, whose fortune during this period decreased by $6.7 billion.
