Bloomberg: Poland to halve Russian oil imports through Druzhba
[ad_1]
In February, Poland intends to export only 220 thousand tons of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline, reports Bloomberg with reference to sources. In January, the figure was 500 thousand tons.
According to the interlocutors of the agency, the reduction in supplies is due to the decision of the Polish refinery PKN Orlen not to renew the contract with Rosneft. Another supply contract concluded with Tatneft continues to operate.
In December 2022, Orlen representatives announced on the refusal to renew the long-term contract with Rosneft, which expired in January 2023. Under the agreement, the Russian company supplied Orlen with 300,000 tons of oil per month.
