The National Retail Federation of the United States (NRF) reported that American shopping activity during the Black Friday sales reached a record – largely due to the timely reaction of retailers who attracted consumers with good deals. During five days of sales, 196.7 million Americans made purchases in physical and online stores, which exceeded the pre-pandemic level and became a record since 2017, when such calculations began to be conducted.
