It was formed in 2020 as a result of the merger of the pharmaceutical assets of AFK Sistema. It is included in the top 10 companies in the Russian retail pharmaceutical market, ranking second among domestic manufacturers in this segment, according to AlphaRM. It unites five production facilities, including Sintez PJSC in Kurgan, Alium JSC in Obolensk near Moscow, as well as sites in Zelenograd, Krasnogorsk and Stavropol. The company is one of the largest drug manufacturers in Russia, with over 450 drugs in its portfolio. The main owner is AFK Sistema (72.2%). The revenue of Binnopharm Group in 2022 amounted to 28.04 billion rubles, which is 12% more year-on-year, EBITDA grew by 21%, to 8 billion rubles. In 2021, the company announced the opening of representative offices in the CIS countries – Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Armenia and Uzbekistan. At the end of 2022, announced the opening of a representative office in China.
