Belarus reduces prices for dairy products for Russia

On February 15 and 20, 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus lowered the maximum minimum prices for certain types of dairy products supplied to Russia for the first time in the last eight months. The relevant resolutions are published on the official legal portal of the republic.
From these documents it follows that low-fat cheeses will be sold to Russia at a price of 300 rubles. (instead of 320 rubles) for 1 kg. The cost of powdered milk and whey is reduced from 190 to 170 rubles. per 1 kg, and condensed milk and cream (including in solid forms) – from 210 to 200 rubles. for 1 kg. The Ministry of Agriculture of Belarus sets minimum prices for the export of certain goods from June 2022. The authorities of the country explained this measure by supporting the economy of the republic.
