Belarus plans to produce the first two aircraft by 2026 together with the Russian Federation

Belarus and Russia should produce the first two light aircraft by 2026, said Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Pyotr Parkhomchik. By 2030, it is planned to produce 85–100 aircraft.
Mr. Parkhomchik recalled that the Belarusian 558th Aviation Repair Plant and the Russian Ural Civil Aviation Plant had previously signed an agreement to create a 19-seater aircraft. “Today we are developing and creating this aircraft together, conducting development work. The first two aircraft should be produced by 2026,” the Deputy Prime Minister told the Belarus 1 TV channel (quoted by the agency BelTA).
Petr Parkhomchik considers it important that there is already a firm order for the minimum number of aircraft that need to be produced by 2030. To implement the project, it is necessary to build 20 thousand square meters. m of additional production space and purchase about 100 units of highly complex equipment.
