Bashneft presented financial statements under IFRS and RAS – Kommersant

The oil company Bashneft (part of Rosneft) published financial results for IFRS And RAS for 2023. From the company’s reporting it follows that net profit at the end of last year according to IFRS amounted to 178.88 billion rubles, according to RAS – 167.42 billion rubles.
By IFRS Bashneft’s revenue from sales and profit from joint ventures for 2023 amounted to 1.032 trillion rubles, costs and expenses – 837.6 billion rubles. Profit before tax amounted to 208.56 billion rubles, operating profit – 194.2 billion rubles. Bashneft did not disclose financial indicators for 2022 under IFRS.
Bashneft’s revenue for the reporting period RAS increased by 10.8% compared to 2022 and amounted to 766.49 billion rubles, gross profit – by 8.4%, to 234.88 billion rubles. The company’s cost of sales reached RUB 529.92 billion. (+11.9%), sales profit – 162.04 billion rubles. (+20.5%).
Bashneft is an oil company operating in more than 20 regions of Russia. The company’s deposits are concentrated in Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, Khanty-Mansiysk and Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, as well as in the Orenburg region. Bashneft also conducts geological exploration abroad – in Iran and Myanmar. The company’s oil refining complex includes three production sites – Bashneft-UNPZ, Bashneft-Novoil and Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim – with a total capacity of 23.5 million tons per year.
