The final chart of the summer seems to sum up the results of a season in which music was a relatively harmless way to forget. The results, it must be admitted, came out colorful, rhythmic, sometimes sentimental to the point of horror. In general, people dance and sing.
After the collapse of Artik & Asti into a renewed duo and a free-floating pop diva, this popular band seemed to have doubled in size. The music, whether in duet or solo format, hasn’t changed much, and it still rips the competition to shreds. As many as three tracks (Artik & Asti with DJ Smash, as well as Anna Asti on her own and with Philip Kirkorov as a sparkling bonus) and no chance that the deep house is about to play in the box.
In a recent interview with ZD, the duo Galibri & Mavik formulated their hit doctrine as “delicious, sincere, but not difficult.” This recipe, apparently, was pinned to the wall in the studio by two gentlemen who identify themselves as Aleks Ataman and Finik, as well as the spouses Viktor Popleev and Daria Sheiko, known as Rasa. Both of them (“Oh, Podzabyli” by Aleks Ataman and Finik, “Let’s Hug” by Rasa) turned out to be delicious in its secondary, but flawlessly acting kebab-pop, which in some way overshadowed even the long-established primacy of hookah- rap. Apparently, this is the same situation when judging hit-makers, firstly, is too late, and secondly, it is pointless.
Against this background, the tracks from Vintage and Reflex are perceived as purebred songwriting, where there are developing melodies, bridges between the verse and the chorus, and other tricks that now look like highly artistic excesses. It’s not surprising that “Fly for the Sun” and “Where Love Lives” did not make it to the top ten, but, most likely, these songs will sound great at the concerts of these groups.
Singer MakSim and her old hits, even years later, can become a subject of excitement. It is quite possible that for the second life “Do You Know?” we must thank the fans of Spartak, who, for their own reason alone, suddenly made something like their anthem out of the song. The singer’s colleagues immediately stretched out their noses, sensitive to streams and likes, and now Dima Bilan (and a little earlier Yegor Creed) made collaborations with the singer and hit the charts again.
The mighty gang, which united Morgenshtern, Niletto, The Limba and Bumych, probably could have sounded with much greater resonance. But the track is not without controversy. On the one hand, a neatly reproduced bug-pop, on the other, a little gloomier than it could be. It all starts as boyish sadness, but turns into a dashing rapper’s rasp, where the most decent word is “slut.” And there is no video yet. But here is geopolitics. Filming with a foreign agent, which Morgenshtern is announced to be, can now be fun, but not safe.
And finally SHAMAN as the main troublemaker. You can see a lot of positive moments in the fact that his main hits clearly stand out from the general summer musical movement, but at the same time break the bank, and also in the fact that the artist, after quite a long search, nevertheless found his audience and is ready to break into a cake for her . Now the breakthrough singer also has a version of the state anthem in his arsenal, not to mention the large cross received from the hands of Leps himself.
In such a situation, it’s time to show generosity and, for example, make a statement asking them to leave Aleksander Gudkov’s parody “I’m Narrow” alone. All you need to do is tell the truth, they say – this is a joke and nothing more, there is nothing offensive in it, and even more so nothing for which the humorist needs to be dragged through the courts, as people demand, who apparently do not understand jokes. Even the author of super hits sometimes does not hurt to pass a test for a sense of humor in public.
