Polish actress Barbara Brylska, who became a star in the USSR thanks to her leading role in the film “The Irony of Fate”, spoke about the scandalous dismissal of her colleague in the film Leah Akhedzhakova. As it became known earlier, the People’s Artist, who in previous years expressed oppositional ideas and condemned the special operation, was actually fired from the Sovremennik Theater, where she worked for almost half a century – the last performance with her participation disappeared from the repertoire.
“Motherland, such a motherland, it is unworthy” – quotes Brylska “Starhit”.
The actress expressed the opinion that a colleague should leave Russia, because “they will not give her life.”
Akhedzhakova herself previously stated that she was not considering any emigration for herself: “This is my“ Ugly Motherland ” <...> I’m 84 years old to tick from here. Let them leave. I’m not going anywhere, I’m here to survive all this.”
