Bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX accuses hackers of stealing $415 million

Crypto exchange FTX, which went bankrupt in November 2022, reported that $415 million was withdrawn from its accounts during a hacker attack. This is stated in a message to creditors on website crypto exchanges.
The report says that $323 million was stolen from the international FTX.com, another $90 million from the accounts of the American division of the company, and $2 million was withdrawn from the Alameda Research hedge fund. The company claims that the hack took place shortly after the stock exchange crashed last November.
FTX Group filed for bankruptcy on November 11. The next day the authorities of the Bahamas confiscated $3.5 billion of digital assets of the bankrupt crypto exchange for their safety. FTX Founder Sam Bankman-Fried is in the United States, where he was extradited in the framework of the case of defrauding investors. He was arrested on December 13 in the Bahamas at the request of the United States on charges of defrauding crypto exchange investors. FTX Lawyers found $5 billion to pay compensation to clients.
