Bailiffs will not collect debts from residents of regions affected by severe floods for two months. This also applies to those regions where there is a risk of flooding. This was reported by the press service of the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP).

“Enforcement proceedings against debtors will be postponed on the basis of information provided from the administrations of cities and districts, municipalities and other authorized bodies,” it says message. Residents of such regions in respect of which the enforcement actions of the bailiffs have not been postponed will be able to contact the municipal authorities or directly to the FSSP.

Heavy floods affected 34 regions of Russia. The most difficult situation with floods is in the Orenburg region. Overnight, the water in the Urals near Orenburg rose to 1,120 cm. Overnight alone, another 361 houses and 900 household plots were flooded. There is a federal state of emergency in the region. By words Governor of the Orenburg region Denis Pasler, residents of the region who lost their homes due to floods will receive payments to purchase a new one.
