The volume of exports of Lada cars will depend on changes in state regulation in other countries, AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov said. So, in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, assembly production is ready for launch, but “certain state measures for technical regulation” are needed. AvtoVAZ wants to export 10-15 thousand cars in 2023, up to 50 thousand in 2024.

In January, AvtoVAZ planned to export by the end of 2023 at the level of 30 thousand cars. In February, Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, who heads the board of directors of AvtoVAZ, announced that the export program would be revised.
