“Avito”: the demand for “secondary” in Moscow for the year increased by 25%

In January 2023, the demand for apartments in the secondary market in Moscow increased by 9% compared to December 2022. In annual terms, the figure increased by 25%. Demand for apartments is affected by information noise and mortgage rates. This was reported in the press service of “Avito”.
Most often, Muscovites were interested in buying two-room apartments – they account for 37% of the total demand for “secondary”. Another 30.6% are one-room apartments, 15% are three-room apartments, and 12% are studios. The share of apartments with a large number of rooms is 4%.
During the year, the popularity of three-room apartments among Avito users increased by 60%, one-room apartments – by 32%, two-room apartments – by 9.6%.
According to the results of January, the average cost of an apartment in the secondary market in Moscow increased to 12.5 million rubles, which is 7.3% more than in January 2022. At the same time, the cost per square meter decreased by 1.3% over the year. On average, the cost of a one-room apartment on the “secondary” in January amounted to 10.2 million rubles, a two-room apartment – 15 million rubles, a three-room apartment – 23 million rubles.
