Avdolyan to merge his coal assets

Albert Avdolyan, the owner of A-Property, will merge his coal assets – Elgaugol and Sibanthracite, reports RBC citing a source close to the businessman. This information was confirmed by a representative of A-Property.
According to RBC, the merged company will be called UK Elga-Sibanthracite (ELSI). It will become the third largest coal producer in Russia. Alexander Isaev, who manages Elgaugl and Sibanthracite, will be the general director of ELSI.
Now Sibanthracite and Elgaugol are in the top 10 largest coal mining companies. In August, Elgaugol bought a controlling interest in an exploration asset that owns two coal licenses near the Elga deposit. The resources are estimated at 2 billion tons.
